Range Reopening!

Range Reopening June 6th - More info Updated 6-3-2020

Temporary Range Closure Extended

RGC's Executive Committee has made the decision to extend the temporary range closure and suspension of all club activities through the end of May. All matches, events, classes, organized practices, and public days are cancelled. Your Executive Committee is continuing to monitor developments and we are making plans for reopening our range.

The health of our Range Safety Officers, members, and our guests is paramount.

RSOs scheduled for duty days that are cancelled will receive credit for those days. Trainees will need to reschedule.

Agencies that have contracts with RGC may use the range in accordance with their contract and their agencies' guidelines.

At this time, RGC RSOs may still use the range provided they follow CDC recommendations.

Remember, when infected, even if you don't feel sick, you will still spread the virus to others. Guidelines strongly recommend wearing a face covering over both the nose and mouth when around non-household members. This is to prevent you from spreading the virus to others. They will be doing the same for you.

Take precautions when handling locks, gates, doors, and benches. Maintain at least 6 feet distance from one another. (An empty bench between you is a good guideline.) Do not share equipment.

If you or someone in your household is sick — STAY HOME!

If you or someone in your household is in a high risk group (over 65, obese, smoker/vaper, diabetic, have lung or heart disease, or immunocompromised) — STAY HOME!

Stand strong, help those who need it, and stay safe.

Vice-President, RGC
