New Club Vice President, Aaron Ostrom

My name is Aaron Ostrom and I am honored to be your Vice President of the Redwood Gun Club. I was interested because I would like to give back more to this range and this community of shooters. I've met some great people (members, RSO's and guests) at this range too. Redwood Gun Club is a huge asset for our community and I feel I can help this range with it's current and future goals.

New Club President, Chris Doane

2022 has arrived for Redwood Gun Club and with it let’s hope for fewer masks and more ammo. 2022 also brings a couple of changes to the E-Board in the form of a new president and vice president. I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself. Before introductions, I would like to thank our former Prez and VP for all of the hard work that they have put in over the past few years. The range looks amazing with lots of new storage and 3 dynamic ranges that have brought a lot of new opportunities to RGC members and the public alike.

Cowboy Action Shooting

Two years ago I introduced Cowboy Action Shooting to the Redwood Gun Club. Just as we were about to have our first monthly shoot in March 2020, we were locked down by the Covid pandemic. After scrambling for a safe way to hold a shoot, we had our first shoot in April. While it was a lightly attended affair, it was to lay the foundation for all the monthly shoots to follow.

BISLEY ~
My father and other family members were not impressed with handguns, so there was no chance that I was inheriting a Colt Bisley. Heck, my uncle was so anti-gun that he wouldn’t even stop and buy me a Luger when billboards in Oregon advertised them for $29.95. And, even way back, Colt Bisley’s sold for a heck of a lot more than $29.95!
